To export emails to an IMAP mailbox, specify the appropriate IMAP mailbox in the export window.
Account information
Select whether you want to enter the account information manually or whether you want to export to an existing IMAP mailbox that has already been added in the profiles section. If you have not already added an IMAP profile, you only have the option to manually enter the account information
IMAP server
Enter the IMAP server, such as "imap.mydomain.tld". Please ask your administrator if you do not have this information.
Port
Enter the port of your IMAP server such as "143"
Timeout
Enter a timeout value in seconds. This value determines that the specified number of seconds that is to be waited or retried before an error is displayed.
Encryption
Determine whether the connection to the IMAP server should be done using SSL/TLS and thus encrypted. Possible values are "None", "SSL" and "TLS".
Email address
Enter the email address of your IMAP mailbox.
Password
Enter the corresponding password for your IMAP mailbox.
Test Account Settings
We recommend you to test your account settings to ensure that the given information is correct. Your emails cannot be exported if the given information is incorrect therefore, please click the Test Account Settings button perform the test.
To export the emails, simply click the OK button. Depending on the amount of data and of your internet connection speed, the export process may take some time. In the case of a very large amount of data, this process may even take several hours.
The export process is carried out in a new window in which you can always monitor the current status of the process.
