The dashboard provides you with some basic information about your system and your archive and also gives you a quick access to the most common tasks of the application.

Overview: Basic information

Displays some basic information about your system.

Computer name

Displays the current name of your computer. This is also the name under which your computer is visible to other computers on the network.

Operating system

Displays the operating system that is currently running on your computer.

Processor

Displays the name of the processor (CPU) that is installed in your system.

Memory

Displays the actual size of the memory (RAM) that is installed in your system.

Software status

This status indicates if the application is up to date, out of date or potentially out of date. If the application is potentially out of date you can easily check for new updates by clicking the "Check for updates" link. If the application is actually out of date you can easily install all available updates by clicking the "Install updates" link in order to get the latest available version. It might also be possible that the status "Unknown" is displayed meaning that the application couldn't search for new updates. This can happen if you have internet connection problems or something similar like this.

Overview: Archive information

Displays information about the entire email archive.

Total profiles

Displays the count of all created profiles.

Total archives

Displays the count of all single archives that are available in the entire archive.

Archived messages

Displays the total count of all emails that are available the entire archive.

Size of archived messages

Displays the file size of the total archived emails that are in the entire archive. Please note that the actual database size differs from the displayed message size because some additional details are also stored in the database. The actual database is therefore always slightly larger than the entire archive.

Gives you a quick access to the most common tasks of the application.

Archive

Opens the Archive tab so that you can access your entire email archive.

Search

Opens the Search tab so you can search for specific emails in all archived emails.

Profiles

Opens the Profiles tab where you can manage existing profiles or create new profiles.

History

Opens the History tab, where you can view the logs and history entries of archiving and exporting tasks.

Settings

Opens the Settings tab, where you can customize and set all application settings.
