In the Archive Viewing Settings, you can determine how your email archive should be displayed.
Archives tree expanding
The archive tree is the entire tree structure/folder structure of your archive which is represented in the archive by + and - icons and which enables you to navigate your email archive. Use this option to specify the behaviour of the archive tree.
Do not expand
Specifies that the archive tree is completely closed by default, so that you only see the profile name or the email address in the archive.
If you use the corresponding + or - icons to expand or collapse the archive tree, MailShelf will remember this so that you do not have to expand or collapse your archive tree again.
Expand first level
Specifies that only the first level of the archive tree is expanded, e.g. only the folders that are directly in the archive but not its subfolders.
Even if you use the corresponding + or - icons of your archive tree to expand or collapse it, using this option, MailShelf will not remember this so that only the first level will be expanded.
Expand whole tree
Specifies that the entire archive tree is always expanded, so that all folders and all subfolders are visible.
Even if you use the corresponding + or - icons of your archive tree to expand or collapse it, using this option, MailShelf will not remember this so that always the whole tree will be expanded.
Email View Layout
You can specify whether the archive is displayed in the vertical or horizontal view. Selecting the appropriate option selects the desired view.
Email Viewer Style
You can specify how the text, source, and header parts of each email should be displayed by specifying the desired font name, font size and font style. Please note that these settings do not affect the HTML part of an email.
With tags you can highlight emails in your archive both in colour and with a tag.
Overview of the tags
In the overview of the tags, all currently created keywords are displayed and underlined by the set tag colour. Existing tags can be edited and/or deleted at any time. Double-clicking on an existing tag opens a window for editing the tag.
Add
Opens a new window in which a new tag can be added. Enter the tag name and select the desired colour of the tag.
Edit
Opens a new window in which the selected tag can be edited. Enter the tag name and select the desired colour of the tag.
Delete
Deletes the selected tag, but not the emails marked with this tag. Emails that have been marked with this tag are then not further marked.
