The POP3 Profile Manager allows to to manage/create POP3 profiles on your local machine. A POP3 profile is used for receiving an email. The left side of the profile manager allows you to view and edit the information that is used by a profile. If you have more than one profile available, you can browse through them by clicking the blue navigation buttons. The right side of this windows gives you access to some managing options for the profile. Please note that every profile needs a valid profile name so please enter a name of your choice in the field "Profile Name" before saving it.


New Profile

Allows you to create a new POP3 profile that is being used to receive emails. Please enter the email address of the associated POP3 account and specify the POP3 server address as well as the Port number. Any mail server that supports POP3 protocol can be used here. If the POP3 server requires an encrypted connection, you have to activate the "SSL" box that can be found next to the port number. You also have to specify the user name as well as the password for this account. Please also specify the timeout value which is the amount of seconds the application will wait for data to be received from the server before returning an error, or zero to wait indefinitely. The default timeout value is 30 which is also recommended.


Save Profile

Allows you to save the profile with the entered information. You have to click this button if you wish to save a newly created profile or if you wish to save changes that might have been made on an existing profile. No changes/information will be saved if you do not click this button.


Delete Profile

Allows you to delete the currently displayed POP3 profile.


Use Profile

Allows you to select the currently displayed profile for use. This option is only available if you do not directly call the profile manager. For example, if you open the profile manager by clicking the profile button at "Manage Subscriptions", this option is available. If you open the profile manager directly by selecting it from the dashboard from from the file menu, this option is unavailable.


Import Profile

Allows you to import a profile file. You can only import those profiles that have been exported by the application through the option "Export Profile".


Export Profile

Allows you to export the currently displayed profile to an external file that can later be imported through the option "Import Profile".


Count Emails

Counts the total amount of emails that are currently present in the associated POP3 inbox and displays the total count in a message box.


Empty Inbox

Allows you to empty the associated POP3 inbox meaning that every email that is currently present in the inbox will be deleted.
