File Folder

To export emails to a folder located on your system or network, you must specify the appropriate directory in the export window and select the file format in which the emails should be exported.

Enter the full path of the folder in which the selected emails should be exported, or click the Browse button to select the desired folder.

Export as RFC822 EML Files

Specifies that the selected emails should be exported as RFC822 compliant .eml files, which can be read by a variety of applications. In fact, most email applications can open and read .eml files. However, there are also exceptions, e.g. Microsoft Outlook, which can not open or read .eml files.

Export as Microsoft Outlook MSG Files

Specifies that the selected emails should be exported as Microsoft Outlook compliant .msg files, which can be read by both Microsoft Outlook and MailShelf.

To export the emails, simply click the OK button. Depending on the amount of data, the export process may take some time. In the case of a very large amount of data, this process may even take several hours.

The export process is carried out in a new window in which you can always monitor the current status of the process.
